Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast and a captain of the US female Olympic gymnastics the 2012 Fierce Five team as well as in the year 2016. In 2016, she was part of the Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics she took gold in both team floor and the individual events. Bronze was taken by the balance bar. This made her one of the very first American gymnast at the Olympics to earn the most medals. The gold medal she won in the Olympics in 2016 was her second consecutive gold for the American team. It made her together with her fellow teammate Gabby - the first Americans to accomplish this achievement. Additionally, she took home two silver medals, one for the floor exercise as well as an individual all-around. After the second Olympics the gymnast took three years off from gymnastics. Additionally, she was part of the gold medal winning American teams in two World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began when she was two and her most favorite sport is floor workouts. Aly gives her time and money to Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation in fashion and hopes to broaden her signature line of leotards and socks in future. She's writing a book titled Fierce to be published in the coming months.
